Prompt Bundle Formatter

The bundle target compiles the @prompts entries of a program to portable JSON bundles. Each bundle holds the messages, inputs, output contract, model, governance and provenance of one prompt, and carries a content hash. It is not a coding agent target. It is never part of an “all targets” default, so add it to targets to use it. It writes nothing for a program without @prompts entries and needs syntax 1.6.0.

Enable the Target

Output Files

Path	Purpose
prompts/index.json	Index of the bundles, sorted by id (primary file)
prompts/<key>.json	One content-hashed bundle per prompt

A target output moves the primary file, and the other files sit next to it. The target owns that directory.
